أمل فيأس ,ثم بصيص أمل
تمضي الأيام بين مد وجزر
من يدري ماوراء ذلك الجبل
ورغم الحذر
فأقدامنا دائماً ما تزل
رغم الضوء المنتشر
لانرى بوضوح فالظلام منسدل
نضحك فنبكي ثم نبتسم
تشرق الشمس ثم تغيب
هكذا عرفناها منذ القدم
ففي الليل صمت رهيب
وفي الصبح تنهض الأمم
لكننا لم نعد نسمع صوت العندليب
والنسور هجرت القمم
حينما تنهال الهموم كالرماح على رجلْ
ويأخذون منه الدرع والسيف
ثم يستحثونه :هيا ايها البطل
ماذا يفعل بعد كل هذا الحيف
لاشئ الا ان يختل منه العقل
نأكل فنشرب ثم ننام
ونختفي لوهلة تحت الغطاء
لنهرب من شياطين الظلام
لكن وياللاسف فعندما يأتي المساء
تأتينا الشياطين في الأحلام
يشاركوننا حتى الهواء
ولا يتركون لنا سوى الاوهام
نفوز فنخسر ثم ننتصر
هكذا علمونا في الكتب
قالوا:اصبروا .وها نحن ننتظر
حتى تزول من السماء السحب
وتظهر الشمس فلا يبقى من مستتر
وتتمزق كل الحجب
فتضح أمامنا كل الصور
لكن الزمن منا سُلب
ويقولون عليكم ببعض الصبر
وبعدما انهوا كل الخطب
لم يُبقوا لنا الا ان نحتضر
